The MMX En-duo, Twin 1.5-Hour Enduros, Set to Run Under the Lights on March 23

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 5, 2013) – Mooresville Motorplex (MMX) has set the date for their March endurance karting event. The MMX En-duo Enduro, back-to-back 1.5-Hour races are set for Saturday night, March 23, 2013.

The MMX En-duo night race will feature kart teams with no minimum number of drivers each using MMX’s fleet of Sodikart RT8 390cc karts, the newest and most advanced machines in the industry. The teams will be divided into two weight divisions; Lite Division with an average team weight of less than 200 pounds and a Heavy Division with an average team weight of 200 pounds or greater.

Teams can begin registering through our online store. The entry fee for The MMX En-duo will be $350 per team. However, space is limited to 22 teams, so be sure to reserve your team’s spot soon! Spectator admission will be free.

Special just for these back-to-back enduros, if a team wins both the first and second enduro, they will win $100 cash. However, following the first enduro, the field will be completely inverted to create the line-up for the second enduro.

The event schedule will be as follows:
3:30 p.m. - Registration Opens
4:15 p.m. - Drivers Meeting in Training Room (MANDATORY)
4:30-4:35 p.m. - Qualifying (each team nominates qualifying driver)
5:00-6:30 p.m. - RACE 1: 1.5 Hour Enduro Race (2 mandatory kart swaps)
7:00 p.m. - Inverted Starting Line-Up Posted
7:15-8:45 p.m. – RACE 2: 1.5 Hour Enduro Race (2 mandatory kart swaps)
9:00 p.m. – Trophy Presentation
9:15 p.m. – Gates Closed

Please note that the Drivers Meeting at 4:15 p.m. is mandatory and any teams who are not fully in attendance will be disqualified. This meeting is important for driver safety and rule and event clarification.

All MMX En-duo event registration sales are final. There will be no refunds.
