Junior Rental Karts Available for Rent at Mooresville Motorplex Beginning March 4

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 1, 2012) – Mooresville Motorplex (MMX) will add Junior Rental Karts to their rental kart fleet that will accommodate drivers who are 48” and taller beginning Monday, March 4. Our Junior Karts are SodiKart GT5 200cc and 6.5 Bhp.

Junior Rental Kart races will have special operating hours separate from our Adult Rental Kart hours. Junior Rentals will have track time on Monday from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m. and on Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Rental races for our Junior Karts will be 10 minutes each and cost $20 for 1 race, $35 for two and $50 for a three-race package.

MMX has added Junior Rental Karts to their fleet in an effort to provide young karters with an opportunity to race. However, all karters who are under 18 are still required to have a Minor Release Form signed by a parent or guardian before being allowed to race. If the parent or guardian does not accompany the child to the track, this form must be signed and notarized before arrival. This form is available for download  on our website.
