Job Title: Track Team Member

Summary: MMX Team Members are the work force that keeps MMX operating efficiently and looking great. This team of dedicated and motivated individuals will have jobs that continually prove MMX as the finest karting facility in America.  


Essential Functions:

-Assist in opening and closing the facility

-Perform the operation of arrive-and-drive and owner sessions including training arrive-and-drive customers, track marshal system operation, responding to on-track customer kart issues and retrieval, assist customers with parts/service support

-Keep the common use areas such as training room, retail store and restrooms in exceptionally clean working order

-Assist in maintaining a clean site such as parking lot, landscape, building, facility attention and more

-Assist in the smooth operation of corporate and private events

-Trash and recycling removal around the entire facility


Requirements and Qualifications:
-Must be 18 years or older, own transportation, drug-free, hard working, team player and a passion for motorsports.

-Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., Saturdays 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Sundays 10:30-6 p.m. 

-Racing background and/or experience in the racing industry is preferred.

-Customer service experience is desired.

 





Job Title: Retail Team Member

Summary: The Retail Team Member will be the face of the organization to a diverse and enthusiastic customer base in addition to managing behind the scenes marketing and sales initiatives to promote MMX.

 

Essential Functions:

-Open the MMX retail store every morning and/or close the MMX retail store every evening

-Execute MMX retail sales including arrive-and-drive, membership sales, garage rentals, daily-use fees, snack/beverage sales, racing league sign-ups and school/training sales

-Greet customers and answer questions in relation to special events such as the rental kart program, group and corporate events, racing leagues, race series and more

-Proficiently manage MMX’s point of sale to sign up arrive-and-drive customers and fill open spots.


Additional Duties:

-May be responsible for additional duties including cleanliness of the reception area and tracking inventory of supplies and refreshments.


Qualifications and Experience:

-Prior point-of-sale and customer service experience is desired.
