Justin Marks – Owner
Justin has raced cars professionally for more than ten years in a variety of championships including the SCCA World Challenge, Rolex Grand American Series, the American Le Mans Series, ARCA, and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series. In addition to competing, Justin has successfully designed and implemented a number of successful partnerships with companies investing in the motorsports business at a number of levels. Along with the Mooresville Motorplex, Justin is the owner of KartSport North America, exclusive importer of Arrow Racing Karts, Kartech Products and other parts and accessories, as well as the home of KartSport Team Arrow Racing, one of the most successful karting teams in America. Justin studied sports marketing at California State University, Chico and currently resides in Davidson, NC.
Michael McDowell – Partner
Michael has a rich and diverse racing pedigree that began in karting at a young age. In the past decade, Michael has competed at the highest levels of professional racing including the Rolex Grand American Series, Champcar, and the NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series. Michael has been integral to the development of the Mooresville Motorplex by bringing a wealth of karting knowledge and passion to the project. Michael originally hails from Phoenix, AZ and currently competes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for Phil Parsons Racing, and in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for Joe Gibbs Racing, and currently resides in Huntersville, NC.
Eric Jones – Partner
Eric has devoted his entire life to the sport of karting. In addition to numerous karting championships as a driver, Eric has developed and operated a number of karting programs and businesses as well as successful, championship-caliber professional kart teams. Eric is an industry leader and brings unmatched experience in the karting business to the Mooresville Motorplex. In addition to his role at MMX, Eric is a partner and president of KartSport North America. Originally from Iowa, Eric currently resides with his family in Cornelius, NC.
