Mission
 

Mooresville Motorplex is dedicated to providing racing enthusiasts a turn-key karting experience centered around an advanced, world-class racetrack. By integrating an on-site karts, parts and service retail center, as well as a diverse schedule accommodating seasoned karters, arrive-and-drive events, races and corporate/group events, Mooresville Motorplex is the premier source for all things karting at every level of the sport. Additionally, standard and luxury garages, and exclusive memberships, provide serious karters with everything they need to make the karting experience as easy and fun as possible while delivering a great value.
 

The Track
 

The Mooresville Motorplex's .7-mile sprint track is based on the famous and historic Kartdromo Parma in Italy.  The European circuit was first built in 1961 and over the decades grew to host 5 world championships and 4 European championships. 

The Kartdromo Parma was considered one of the finest, but most challenging karting circuits in the world and gave birth to the racing careers of such drivers as Patrese, Senna, Zanardi, Alonso, Hamilton, and Raikkonen.  Today, the legend lives on at MMX as the original Parma circuit has been painstakingly recreated but updated to the highest standards of modern world championship karting specifications.

This includes a proprietary motorsports-specific asphalt design, CIK curbing and runoff zones, and a wide, accommodating paddock and pit area capable of holding the largest events in North America.

There is also a state-of-the-art sports lighting system engineered and built by MUSCO Lighting, the industry leader in venue lighting applications.
